Estonia defender makes debut, then returns to barracks for military service

An eventful evening for 21-year-old Estonia defender Artur Pikk. The full-back came on as a substitute for his international debut on Sunday night. Disappointingly for him it was against England, rather than a more glamorous opponent.

He did some running about, marked Wayne Rooney a bit, and generally represented the proud club of FC Levadia Tallinn with distinction.
One ice bath and costume change later and he was giving interviews in army uniform, because he’s in the middle of his mandatory military service and needed to be back at his barracks by midnight after the game.
Presumably his morning has consisted of being shouted at by a furious bald man reminding him that despite having met Calum Chambers he’s still a pathetic maggot that should be doing press-ups.
