Strictly's Siberian Siren Kristina Rihanoff 'banned from dancing with married men' on hit show over 'fears men find her irresistible'

While Kristina Rihanoff has proved to be a hit fans of Strictly Come Dancing, it has been claimed that her popularity with her dancing partners has become cause for concern.

The Russian beauty, who celebrates her 37th birthday on Monday, has reportedly been banned from dancing with married men on future series of the hit BBC1 show, for fear her partners will fall for her.

According to the Sunday People, Kristina - who this year has been teamed up with Blue hunk Simon Webbe - has learned that from now on, her partners will be single men.

A source told the publication: 'There were discussions about Kristina, and she was made aware of them herself. There is no blame being attatched to anyone.

Most of the relationships that have broken down after contestants appeared on Strictly Come Dancing clearly had problems before the show began.

'But there is no doubting the fact Kristina is a very attractive woman who has been at the centre of relationship breakdowns.'

The blonde beauty has previously been linked to Strictly co-stars Joe Calzaghe and Vincent Simone, who both ended their relationships with their girlfriends after they met her.

There are also questions about the nature of her friendship with her 2013 dance partner Ben Cohen, who announced the end of his 11-year marriage to wife Abby a day after supporting Kristina at her charity event in London this week.

News of the alleged ban came at the same time that Abby's mother Felicity Blayney-Bassouls spoke of her anger at seeing a picture of Ben with his arm around Kristina on a London Underground train.

Felicity told the Sunday Mirror: 'When I saw the photo in last week's Sunday Mirror of him with his arm around Kristina, I was so angry. I sent an email to his phone.'

She added: 'I feel so sad for Abigail. She loves Ben. Abby is my daghter and I would never have wanted her marriage to end like this.

'The pain and hurt she is going through must be horrific. But, I would never want her to stay with a husband who may not love her.'
